Ana Blue Grillo is an award-winning documentary photographer, filmmaker, and environmental storyteller dedicated to capturing narratives of hope, positive social change, and human-wildlife coexistence. With a career rooted in deep observation, Grillo specializes in documenting critical conservation projects—from wild elephant conservation and mangrove reforestation to community-led initiatives—that highlight the resilience of both people and the animals they protect.

Beyond the lens, Grillo is a lifelong student and outdoor advocate. A United States Air Force veteran and a certified wilderness guide, Grillo bridges the gap between technical expertise and meaningful connection. Whether leading Vinyasa yoga classes, assisting therapy sessions as an equine specialist, or facilitating interpretive workshops, Grillo is driven by personal responsibility and a commitment to creating media that inspires.

Currently based in the American West, Grillo continues to explore the intersection of land, animals, and the humans who protect them.

Grillo is currently available for new projects and collaborations. Please reach out via email to start the conversation. bluegrillo@gmail.com Thanks!
