Camp Beaverton: Meet the Beavers, a documentary film

DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY/CO-DIRECTOR/ PRODUCER/WRITER/INTERVIEWER

Camp Beaverton: Meet the Beavers is a feature length documentary film currently on 2013 - 2014  festival tour after being selected in over 33 film festivals, 4 continents and winning a Special Jury Prize in Rio de Janeiro. I directed, wrote and produced this film with Beth Nelsen and was the director of photography.

Camp Beaverton is the only all women, trans-inclusive queer sex positive camp at Burning Man, the largest experimental art festival in the world. They teach sex educational workshops, host popular social events and create a sacred safe space for women to explore their sexual desires. Our film is a portrait of a new generation of queer women, educated, outspoken and self defined. These Beavers are modern pioneers of the new sex positive queer culture today. www.meetthebeavers.com for more info.

Trailer for documentary film currently in progress: What is Love?

What is Love? The SF Mission teaser

ROLES: DP/CINEMATOGRAPHY/DIRECTOR/PRODUCER/WRITER/INTERVIEWER

What is Love? is an ongoing documentary film project about the meaning of Love. In these times, when love is both legalized and criminalized, to question how we define Love and how we are defined by love is inescapable. As I travel on assignment and for projects, I'll interview people around the world and ask simple, yet profound questions about Love.

The documentary began in San Francisco and this teaser highlights The Mission district of San Francisco, my home. As of 2014, I've conducted over 50 interviews in San Francisco, Hamburg and Berlin, the beginning of a diverse colorful cast of characters representing the unique character of each city. Feel free to contact me for further information or if you'd like to bring What is Love? to your cityanagrillosf@gmail.com
